Various parts of the school grounds - are on the list to be developed to allow parents and children more room when moving around outside and to show a variety of different habitats.
Reading area - We currently have a walled off small grass area in the infant part of the school, we are planning to turn this area into a quiet reading area. The grass will be replaced with bark and the combine harvester tyres have started to be planted out and turned into tables for the children to use. We will use logs as seating area and going to install a large black board for the children to use.
Nature area - We are planning to create a nature area within the school grounds, where will be able to watch the local wildlife and study them helping us understand the environment and how we can best look after it.
If you would like to help develop any of the school areas or donate any items then please speak to Mr Jones or speak to the school office.
