UPDATE FROM YOUR TEACHER DURING THIS UNUSUAL TIME OF PARTIAL SCHOOL CLOSURE:
Hello to all my wonderful Elm Class,
I do hope you and your families are well. I hope that your work packs are keeping you active and that some of it has even been fun! I’ll be putting some more MyMaths on for you all tomorrow so please check.
The weather has been so lovely this week- I’ve been for lots of long walks and have tidied my garden. I would imagine you’ve all enjoyed being out in the sunshine too, with your families. I’m sure lots of you are missing your friends but catching up online. It’s important to stay in touch and we are so lucky that we can do so safely.
It’s been lovely seeing so many rainbows in windows around the village- have you all made one? Have any of you tried out any of the science experiments yet? Don’t forget to take a photo and add a comment- it would be great to add to our class page on the website. Have you done anything else that’s been creative or fun that you think the rest of your class might want to do to? Send in an e-mail and we’ll do our best to put it on the website.
Mrs Willis recommended Joe Wick’s PE to us all and I tried it out at home yesterday. It was great and quite a challenge! I would recommend it, it’s on YouTube each morning at 9 o’clock. Don’t worry if you miss it- you can catch up on them at any time during the day.
I’d love to hear about what you’ve all been up to- I’m sure you’ve been busy. You can email school and I’ll make sure I reply.
Please enjoy this time with your families. Look after one another and stay well.
