Friday Maths Challenge
Here are our maths challenges.

When you get full marks (x tables- 3x full marks), you will move up to the next challenge!
What have we been learning?
This week we concluded our topic with a challenge to make Stonehenge using bourbon biscuits. Miss Hughes was very impressed with the creations- until they fell or got eaten!
We created our own Stone Age cave paintings using charcoal on sandpaper for a 'rocky' effect.
We had a go at carving our own Stone Age tools and weapons using soap. It got very messy, but smelt lovely!
In science, we investigated different building materials and their properties. Which ones would be suitable for the Stone Age?
We had a go at building our own Mesolithic tents, made from animal skins and wood. Now we have a Canute Stone Age village!
Canute Class created fruit faces based on artwork by Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Can you find your self-portrait? How many different fruits and vegetables have we used?
Remember, you can use the lesson as a practice before completing the activity.
