Please look at the maths challenge sheets and see what your child needs to practise. If you child is moving up after completing numberbonds to 10 then it will be using them to subtract from 10. Then they move on to 20, subtract from 20, more or less....
We have had quite the afternoon finding clothes following PE and trying to get them back to the right people!
It would really help if all items of clothing had names as some items are being accidentally scooped up into others PE bags. Most PE kits are named but it can be their uniform that is getting muddled.
If you find itemsof clothing missing or with another child's name then please pass them to us to try and reunite them.,
We did have an unnamed scolloped polo shirt age 6-7 handed in which was unclaimed today.
Books will come out to you Tuesday.
Spellings to practise are :-
Year 1 ~ off, puff, sniff, miss, hiss, less, if, us, bus, yes.
Year 2 ~ knock, know, knee, knitting, knife, gnat, gnaw, gnome, gnarled, gnash.
Homework ~ 9.9.22
We have been trying our maths challenge today. You have the sheets we tried in the homework books. Please work together to solve the ones we struggled with.
Use cubes if you have them or lego pieces, buttons, beads, counters... to help recognise and learn the number bonds to 10.
Once we know our numberbonds we can try to take away and then move on to making 20.
Also keep reading 4+times a week.
Remember to rest too, its been a long week!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
