  • Week Beginning 22nd February

Freya has been adding up sticks, putting the sticks from biggest to smallest and adding up to 20 with beanstalk leaves.

Tegan worked hard today adding the Stick man pictures together. She also ordered them according to size. Tegan then went on a scavenger hunt, it looked like fun.

Happy Birthday Harli!

Jake has been busy working through his number bonds to 10, I like the way you have made your own Numicon too!

What lovely letter formation Freya, keep going! I like the way you have been practicing your tricky words too, keep it up!

Jake has been continuing on with his number bonds this morning. Jake later went on to explore within the garden, did you find many sticks Jake?

Anna has been looking at both her Maths and English today. Anna was able to create the tricky word "said" using play dough too, great job!

Cooper went exploring around the village for different items on his list, Cooper told his Mummy that he still had 5 things to find!

Freya has completed several Maths questions today!

Wow Harli, you found many different things on your 'Scavenger Hunt'!

Penny had great fun showing the children at school how to do the ‘Tooty Ta’ today. Excellent job Penny!

Anna took part in her brother's Science lesson today, they blew the bubbles in the sunlight to see what colours the white light was made from!

Cooper worked hard on his number bonds to 10 today, later he practised his 'h' letter formation.

Harli practised her cutting skills today to help order the 'Stick Man' family. Harli also went on a scavenger hunt to find different natural objects!

Cooper had great fun collecting materials on his walk to make his very own 'Stick Man', what an amazing idea Cooper!

Jake has been making the most of the lovely weather and has been playing in the garden! Excellent maths work too Jake.

What a great P.E lesson you had with Daddy Jessica, it looks like lots of fun!

Jack has been busy experimenting this week using washing up liquid and bicarbonate soda with food colouring!

Anna practised her tricky words using Waxy Doodles before working on her number bonds to 20. Then she drew and made a Stick Man using a stick she found when out on a walk using air drying clay. After that, she wrote some Stick Man describing sentences and underlined the adjectives. Wow Anna you have been busy. Well done!

Wow Jessica, you worked so hard to write CVC and tricky words. Then you made a beautiful unicorn garden. Good work!

Freya learnt to write her 'k' today and also made a Dear Zoo zigzag book. She sat for 1 hour writing and drawing pictures all by herself. Then, during the afternoon Freya went on a stick hunt in the garden. She found just the right kind of sticks to make a stick family. You had lots of fun while working hard. Well done!

Jake worked so hard practising his tricky words today. Then, he coloured in the word 'no' beautifully before learning to write 'l'. He even had time to learn his number bonds up to 10. Great work, well done!

Jack went on a hunt for Stick Man in mummy's garden rubbish before becoming Jake the footballer. He then completed these robot addition sheets. Well done!
