  • Week Beginning 8th February

Cooper and his brother had great fun in the snow at the weekend, what an excellent snowman boys!

Freya has been very busy looking at Chinese New Year and completing some word comprehension!

Tegan has been experimenting with different objects on her scales to see what is the 'lightest' and what is the 'heaviest'. Great job Tegan!

What excellent work Evie, I really like the tricky word bingo you created!

Harli has been looking at Chinese New Year this week as well as finding objects that are 'light' and those that are 'heavy'.

Freya had fun practising her letter 'd' formation. She also coloured in this beautiful Chinese dragon mask and stuck a lolly stick to it. Well done Freya.

Jack Did this beautiful picture of his family and wrote their names. Then he worked hard on The Three Little Pigs addition sheet. Jack had lots of fun with Phoebe in the snow, before warming himself by the fire while he traced over words. Later on Jack played Monopoly with Phoebe, I wonder who won? What a beautiful picture of Jack with his new baby sister.

Tegan worked so hard matching the CVC words to the pictures. Then, Tegan filled in the missing letters sheet and a measuring sheet. And, after all that hard work she went out for a well earned playtime in the snow. Well done Tegan!

Jessica has worked hard practising her letter formation.

Anna has been busy cutting out and matching the pictures on the weight chart. Then she created her own acrostic poem. Good work Anna!

Freya has been working hard again. She practised her 'e' letter formation and put the heavy and light objects on the chart. Then, Freya had lots of fun making her own balance scales using a coat hanger and some cups. You can see what fun she had weighing different objects.

Harli did a fabulous job of identifying the heavy and light objects on the balance scale sheet. Then she coloured in this beautiful dragon mask.

Wow Cooper you have had a busy day. First, you learnt tricky words before making this splendid Chinese dragon. Good work!

Harli has had a very busy day. First she practised her letter 'c' formation and coloured in this beautiful heart before making this fabulous Chinese dragon. She then took part in Zoom PE, followed by a walk with the dogs in the park. Great job!

Jack has very been busy today! When he carried out a science experiment using baking powder, vinegar and food colouring. That looked like such fun Jack! Perhaps you could show Ella Chadwick class how it works.

Cooper has been busy looking at different objects on what is 'light' and what is 'heavy', he has completed his own scales too!

Tegan has been exploring Chinese New Year this week and made her own characters! Tegan has been focusing on her subtraction this week using mini beasts to do so, great work!

Harli has been working on Education City this week. What a lovely Valentine's Day card for Daddy Harli, he will love it!

Great work Freya, you have been looking at time and shape for Maths this week. Excellent letter formation of the letter "g" too!

Anna celebrated Chinese New Year by making lanterns, she also wrote her name in Chinese calligraphy. She worked so hard that day and worked on adding and taking away using a number line. She also completed her heavy/light scales picture successfully before making a Valentines day card. Anna ended the day with some ballet. Well done Anna!
