What a great week we have had ending in a trip to the Cutty Sark and National Maritime Museum.
We learned a lot about import/export and products that were traded around the world. We also got to experience what life might be like for the sailors on board. A great way to experience history.
This week we have been learning:
Maths - Algebra
English- Biographies
Science- Life cycles - mammals
History- Debate - Was life better in Sparta or Athens
Computing - Scratch
PE- Spatial awareness
Remember to take a look at the School Newsletter for all the weeks news and information plus upcoming events.
Please let me know if you do not have a reading record book.
For any children who would like to do their homework at school or having difficulties, I will be holding a lunchtime homework club every Monday.
HOMEWORK- Due date 3rd May 2024
In order for the children to take more responsibility for ensuring their homework is handed in and get ready for expectations at secondary school, we will be asking the children to have their homework signed for by an adult when it has been completed. This will also include any Education City activities.
Homework folders will be issued on Monday. All homework will need to be signed for by an adult when completed. All folders must be handed in on Fridays.
Biographies
Over the last few weeks, your homework has been to research a person with a significant past that has impacted their future; eg Malala, Michelle Obama, Stephen Hawkins.
Please ensure you have enough information to write your biographies on Monday.
