At Canewdon Primary School we use a range of technology and are committed to ensuring that our pupils learn how to use them appropriately. We teach our pupils how to stay safe and how to report their concerns.
Children are gaining access to, and owning, their own devices from an ever younger age. Devices can be great for learning, however parents should be aware of the content available online and the chance of your child seeing something they shouldn’t when online.
The best way to ensure children know how to be aware and stay online is by talking to them. It is not always easy to know where to start the NSPCC and Childnet International have some useful advice on this matter.
