Welcome to Canewdon Church of England Primary School’s website. We are a Church of England Primary School and we have worked hard to develop the Christian ethos of our school; which is reflected through our work and through our successes. We are a real community and work together for the good of all of our learners. The caring, Christian ethos of the school is firmly based on our core values, which remind all of us that we must consistently strive to achieve and exceed our potential.
We are a busy but friendly school; with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.
We are very proud of our school and fully recognise the significant role that parents play. Confidence in a school comes from knowing and understanding what is happening within it. I hope you will take advantage of the occasions for meeting with us and attend consultations with your child’s teacher in order for you to fully understand the school. Our school has an Open Door Policy and we will deal with any concerns as quickly as possible so as to cause minimal disruption to your child’s education.
We pride ourselves on our happy, friendly and caring atmosphere, as well as our strong Christian ethos, which underpins all that we do.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.
Thank you for visiting!
