Could all children please have a FULL outdoor PE kit in school, as we do not have many spare items?
If you have any old, outgrown PE kit items that you would like to donate, including trainers, it would be very much appreciated.
Please, could all girls have SPARE SOCKS if they wear tights to school?

Phonics
Year 1 children have a phonics folder with weekly sounds and words that we are learning in class. Please practice these at home.
Week beginning 12th January (week 2) - ew (U Hoo) spelling rule k before y, i and e.
READING RECORD INSERTS
Each time your child reads at home, simply write the date in the corresponding numbered box on the insert to show how many times your child has read at home.
This helps us celebrate your child's fantastic effort and commitment to reading. At the end of each term, children will receive a Bronze, Silver or Gold Reading Certificate to recognise their engagement and progress.
To ensure that every child's hard work this term is recognised, we would be very grateful if you could backdate the insert by adding the dates for any reading already completed this half-term.
Thank you for your continued support in encouraging a love of reading. Every read truly does make a difference.
