The wearing of school uniform is endorsed by the governing body for several reasons. It creates a sense of unity, and also sets a distinction between casual leisurewear and more formal attire.
Research into discipline in schools suggests that wearing full school uniform results in a positive, business-like attitude to work and improved standards of behaviour, both of which are conducive to a high standard of academic achievement.
We aim to reach the highest standards in terms of achievement and behaviour and value parents full support in our uniform policy.
