Spellings
Here are your spelling rules to practise this week:
Year 4: Long 'o'/ 'oo'/'or' sound spelt ough
Year 5: Adverbs for frequency and possibility
Here is a 'Spelling Menu' of activities to choose from when practising your spellings. Choose 1 or 2 different activities a week to support memorising spelling patterns.
These are common exception words all children should be able to read and spell by the end of year 4.

Can you achieve your reading target this half-term? Keep reading regularly and discuss texts at home- remember to log all reading you are doing. Please bring reading records to school daily and return books to school when you are confident to 'quiz'.
