During this topic we will be learning about people within our community who help us such as doctors, the police and firefighters.

PE: 

Chick Class will do PE on Thursday. Please make sure children have a clean, labelled PE kit in school ready for this.

Year 1 Phonics Homework:
Please see the attached phonics sheets below called 'Spring Term 1' Each weeks phonics sounds have been organised into a weekly practice sheet. Please practice these at home each week.

Homework:

All children should be reading 5 times a week and spending at least 10 minutes a week on the numbots math game. 

There are some activity sheets attached in pdf format below, if your child would like to practise some written work:

Show and tell - I would love to celebrate achievements that the children are proud of during Show and Tell time.
Please instead of bringing in toys, which could get lost or broken, can I encourage the children to bring in things they have made (pictures, stories, cards, etc.) , certificates or medals from clubs or any other achievements. Thank you
