Although computing does not form part of the EYFS Statutory Framework, children in our reception class develop knowledge and skills that form a foundation for computing in Key Stage 1. The children are given opportunities, through play and adult-led activities where the children program electronic toys, use a variety of different age-appropiate software. The children also select and use technology for purpose. The children are also encouraged to ask a variety of different questions about every day technology.
